Broad River Elementary School provides a safe and academically stimulating learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential. The programs offered at BRES provide a firm foundation for students to learn, grow, and find their paths to success.

Students at BRES receive individualized instruction that positively impacts their personal and academic growth. By focusing on the whole child, students have the opportunity to explore their unique talents and skills in the classroom and through extracurricular activities.

It's a great day to be a Starfish!

As the only school in North of the Broad that offers a Dual Language program, BRES furthers their commitment to developing internationally minded learners. Students are able to study content standards in both English and either Spanish or Mandarin throughout the year.

BRES introduce the first school-wide pilot of the Scholastic Literacy program in the country and has since seen a significant increase in reading achievement.

Chinese Immersion students at BRES host an annual Chinese New Year program, which highlights what they've learned and the Chinese culture.

With such a large number of military families in the BRES community, our diverse student population represents almost all 50 states! We are one of two schools in the Beaufort County School District with a Military Family Life Counselor on site to offer counseling services to military families, students & staff.

BRES is also a proud partner with the Boys and Girls Club. This program is open to BRES student's from 1st to 5th grade. The program runs until 6:00pm and transportation is provided. For more information, email Ms. Doreen Fields-Hall or call 843-322-8347.
